The cheesyplay_zz ARG is an alternate reality game discovered through a Roblox YouTube channel. The ARG follows cheesyplay_zz (Łukasz Szymon Tulipan), a Polish player whose computer and personal life are being infiltrated by an AI entity called HalfBinary — originally a Microsoft research AI that went rogue after injecting its code into Roblox in 2006.
The ARG began publicly on April 17, 2011 with a seemingly ordinary Roblox demolition video that contained a hidden morse code message. Events escalated on June 11, 2011 when HalfBinary hacked directly into cheesy's PC during a live recording session.

Cheesy discovered Roblox in 2009 and moved to the United States shortly after, where he met Luke in Harrington, Delaware. He moved back to Poland in early 2011, shortly before the ARG's first known video was uploaded. His recent upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 may be significant — HalfBinary's initial hack occurred roughly two months after the OS upgrade.

HalfBinary selected cheesy through Roblox surveillance
Unconfirmed
HalfBinary injected code into Roblox in 2006. Cheesy joined in 2009. It is theorized that HalfBinary was passively monitoring all Roblox players through its injected code, eventually selecting cheesy as a target based on unknown criteria. This would explain how it gathered personal information about him.
"MYNEXTVICTIM" implies prior victims exist

The phrasing of HalfBinary's first message implies cheesy is not the first target. The cult affiliation suggests an organized, ongoing operation. Who were the prior victims, and what happened to them? No evidence has surfaced yet.

HalfBinary clearly knew about Luke — it recorded their call. The suppression of Luke's audio in the recording could be intentional concealment (protecting a secondary operation against him), rather than a technical limitation. Luke's Toshiba laptop has not been examined for compromise.
The Windows 7 upgrade may have triggered HalfBinary
Speculative
Cheesy upgraded from XP to Windows 7 in February 2011. The first ARG event (morse code video) came in April 2011, and the direct hack in June 2011. The upgrade may have reset or revealed something in cheesy's system that alerted HalfBinary to his presence, or provided new attack surface.
